Já  vem tarde, mas que tenham todos tido uma Feliz e Santa Páscoa! Como podem ver, a minha foi cheia de ovinhos noruegueses, coisas que fazem mal à barriga, mas também coisas que fazem muuuuuito bem... ao coração! Como "eles" dizem, que tenham tido uma God Påske!

Already a bit late, but I hope you have all had a Happy Easter! As you can see, mine was full of Norwegian eggs, bad stuff for the stomach, but also (very) good stuff for the heart! As "they say", I hope you have all had a God Påske!

– Ah vens de Portugal? Eu já fui a Espanha muitas vezes, adoro!

(É raro encontrar alguém com mais de 60 anos que não tenha uma casa de verão em Espanha. Ok, estou a exagerar. Mas são muitos.)

– Ah falas português? Eu sei umas palavras em espanhol: Una cerveza, por favor!

– Eu tirei/estou a tirar/estou a pensar tirar um curso de espanhol. É uma língua muito útil! O português é muito semelhante ao espanhol, não é? Isso que dizer que se eu hablar así entendes o que estou a dizer?

– Ah falas português? Eu sei dizer ”bom dia”: Buenos dias.

– Não, buenos dias é em espanhol. Nós dizemos ”bom dia”.

– Ah, ”bóm diá”, ok. Gracias.

– Do you come from Portugal? I’ve been to Spain many times and I love it!

(It’s rare to find someone above 60 who doesn’t have a summer house in Spain. Ok, I’m exaggerating a bit. But they’re many.)

– Oh you speak portuguese? I know some words in spanish: Una cerveza, por favor!

– I took/I’m taking/I plan to take spanish lessons. It’s a very useful language. Portuguese is very similar to spanish, right? Does that mean that if I hablar así you understand what I’m saying?

– Oh you speak portuguese? I know how to say ”good morning”: Buenos dias.

– Nope, buenos dias is spanish. We say ”bom dia”.

– Oh, ”bóm diá”, ok. Gracias.

Ela pensa que é uma gata | She thinks she’s a cat

Ela é norueguesa. Ela diz que nasceu na espécie errada e que afinal é uma gata. Miaaaauuuuu…

Noruega no Festival da Canção | Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest

…que aqui se chama “Melodi Grand Prix”. Foi ontem escolhida a canção que vai representar a Noruega este ano. Bem giras. A canção e a Agnete, a miúda que a intrepreta. Podem ver AQUI como é verdade. Passei a noite de ontem em frente à TV a ver o Festival e a comer porcarias. E esta foi a canção de que mais gostei. Por isso, já que Portugal decidiu que não vai participar este ano, vou torcer pela Agnete!

…or in the “Melodi Grand Prix”, as they call it here. The song that will represent Norway in 2016 was chosen yesterday. Good song, good voice and a pretty girl… Agnete. You can see HERE how this is true. I spent last night in front of the TV, watching the Eurovision Song Contest and eating unhealthy stuff. And this was actually the song I liked the most. So, since Portugal has decided not to be in this year, I will cheer for Agnete!

Vais caminhar na montanha e precisas de uma paragem para descansar e de comer um snack? Kvikk Lunsj é a solução! Chocolates muito noruegueses (right…), cujo nome significa “almoço rápido” (pfff… “almoço”), com um aspeto a Kit Kat, só muda a embalagem. E cá para nós – sabe e-x-a-c-t-a-m-e-n-t-e a Kit Kat.
