Já vos tinha introduzido à fofinha da Karin, The Norwegian Teacher. AQUI. Ela faz vídeos no You Tube sobre a língua Norueguesa de uma forma mesmo, mesmo fofinha.

Este é mais um vídeo dela que me desculpa, em parte, pelo facto de ainda não ter aprendido Norueguês decentemente. É que há dialetos (MUITOS DIALETOS neste país!) praticamente impossíveis de se perceber! Mesmo para um nativo, por vezes. Palavras completamente diferentes! Não é só uma pronúncia difícil de perceber, não é ouvir açoreanos na televisão, por exemplo. As palavras são mesmo COMPLETAMENTE diferentes. Ora vejam:

I had already introduced you to the cute Karin, The Norwegian Teacher. HERE. She posts videos on You Tube about the Norwegian language in a really, really adorable way.

This is another of her videos that partially explains why I haven’t learned proper Norwegian yet. The problem is that there are dialects (MANY DIALECTS in this country!) Almost impossible to understand! Even for a native, sometimes. Completely different words! It’s not just a difficult pronunciation to understand, it’s not listening to people from Azores on TV, for example. The words are COMPLETELY different. Check this out:

Fui ver The Snowman este fim de semana e… | Watched “The Snowman” this weekend and…

…vai daí e gostei. É um thriller baseado num livro de Jo Nesbø e filmado na Noruega.

Estreou na sexta-feira aqui e andava tudo em pulgas para o ver. Acho que era o patriotismo a falar mais alto. Fui vê-lo no sábado, mas aí já as críticas eram negativas. Daí que as minhas expectativas fossem baixinhas, baixinhas. Deve ter sido essa a razão pela qual até gostei.

Ora então “The Snowman” conta a história de um serial killer e do detetive dos casos. Eu sei, nada visto no cinema. Mas ao contrário de outros thrillers, este está cheio de (SPOILER ALERT!!!) bonecos de neve e de neve que também nunca mais acaba. Pasmem.

Parece que estreia esta semana em Portugal. Tem o nome de “O Boneco de Neve” (hahahahahahaha!) Podem ver o trailer AQUI. Promete muitos sustos, mas… nhé. Vale pelas paisagens branquinhas e pelos locais onde foi filmado em Oslo. Do tipo “olha, já estive ali… e ali… e trabalho ali… mas essa casa não fica nessa rua”. Mas há cenas e uma personagem que eu ainda hoje não sei MESMO o que estavam a fazer no filme.

Mas vá, vão ver e depois digam-me alguma coisa. E levem pipocas para comer ao som da Popcorn Song, que faz parte da “banda sonora”. Espertos.

…kind of liked it. “The Snowman” is a thriller based on the novel of the same name by Jo Nesbø, and it was filmed in Norway.

It was released last Friday here, and everyone was waiting to see it with a lot of expectations. I think it was patriotism speaking. I watched it on Saturday, but by then most of the reviews were negative. So my expectations were very, very low. That must has been the reason why I ended up liking it.

"The Snowman" tells the story of a serial killer and of its detective. I know, nothing seen in the cinemas yet. But unlike other thrillers, this one is full of (SPOILER ALERT!!!) snowmen and snow itself. Surprise, surprise!

You can watch the trailer HERE. It promises some scary moments, but... meh. It’s worth for the white landscapes and the places where it was filmed in Oslo. Like, “I’ve been there... and there... and I work there... but this house it’s definitely not in this street”. There are scenes and a character that I STILL don’t even know what they were doing in the movie.

Anyway… go, watch it, and say something. And bring popcorn with you to eat to the sound of the “Popcorn Song”, which is part of the "soundtrack". Clever.
