Eu detesto
correr.
– a Volta a Paranhos (olé
aconteceu. Porquê? Porque desisti dos treinos.
Eh pah, era
Verão. Apetecia-me TUDO menos correr (a mesma desculpa serviria para a
Primavera, o Outono ou o Inverno). Mas eu ainda tentei. Andava a portar-me bem.
Deslarguem-me!
Ainda me
feliz no ginásio, a fazer Body Attack, Zumba, Pump, etc. Vou a tudo de seguida
se for preciso. Aí ninguém me pára!

I hate to run. At a slow pace, fast,
uphill, downhill, flat, it doesn’t matter. I hate it.
But as I’m very stubborn, and
running is a very trendy sports now, I’ve asked myself several times "wait,
if everyone does it, why can’t I?". And I tried. I tried once and I gave
up. I tried again and I gave up.
ONCE I did a 10 km race (buhhh, I
know runners, I know, very weak, and I won’t even tell my pace...) – the “Corrida
de Paranhos”, in Porto. It felt good, I was very proud of myself, and so on,
but the feeling didn’t last long. After that I didn’t run again for a few
months.
But this year I decided to run the whole
summer, aiming to do a 10km race today. It didn’t happen. Why? Because I gave
up on training.
C’mon, it was summer. EVERYTHING was
more interesting than running (the same excuse would suit spring, autumn or winter).
But I still tried. I was doing well. But when I didn’t manage to improve
distances or paces, I demotivated a little bit. Until I moved to a new home and
the lack of time was the last excuse not to run more often. Well, I didn’t feel
like doing it, I didn’t want to. Leave me alone!
I still regretted it a little bit
today when I saw the great atmosphere downtown in Oslo. And I felt somehow envy
of all those who weren’t weak, like me. But it doesn’t matter. I'm a happy girl
at the gym, doing Body Attack, Zumba, Pump, and so on. All in a row if needed.
There nobody stops me!
