Isto podia ser
mais uma receita, mas na verdade não há aqui muito para cozinhar. Só para nos
divertir. E bem sei que não é só uma tradição norueguesa, mas…
Pela primeira
vez na vida fiz biscoitos de gengibre com amigas e foi muito divertido!
Porque a parte
mais divertida vem depois, comprámos já a massa já feita. Assim foi só esticar,
usar forminhas e meter no forno. Depois decorámos tudo. Ficaram tão engraçados!
Também fizemos
uma casinha, só porque é giro. Há-de ficar exposta na minha sala até começar a
fungalhar.
Fazer biscoitos de gengibre é muito mais do que cozinhar para os comer,
é passar uma tarde boa no quentinho com amigas, a conversar e a beber cházinho
de Natal ou gløgg. Adorei, e para o
ano havemos de os fazer outra vez!

This could be a post about a recipe,
but actually there’s not much to cook in here. Just to have fun. And I know
it's not only a Norwegian tradition, but...
For the first time in my life, I
made gingerbread cookies with friends and it was so much fun!
Because the most fun part comes
later, we decided to buy the dough ready to be used. We just had to stretch it,
to use the shapes and to bake the figures in the oven. Then we decorated all of
them. They looked lovely!
We also built a gingerbread house,
just because it's cute and fun to make. I’ll keep it as a piece of decoration
in my living room until it starts to look bad (not yet!).
Making gingerbread
cookies is much more than baking to eat them, it's spending a cozy afternoon inside
with friends, talking a lot and drinking Christmas tea or gløgg. I loved it, and next year we should definitely do it again!
