Sabem aquela sensação de ir
deitar e adormecer a ouvir a chuva a cair? Pensar que ainda temos a noite toda
pela frente e enquanto lá fora faz frio nós estamos ali no quentinho?
Esqueçam. Não existe tal
romantismo na Noruega. O isolamento é tão bom que não se ouve chuva nenhuma –
só sabes que vai/está a chover se vires a meteorologia com antecedência, ou se
abrires as cortinas de manhã e… surpriiiise!

Do you know that feeling of going to bed and
fall asleep listening to the rain? Thinking that we have the whole night ahead,
and while it’s cold outside we can just stay there, warm and cozy?
Forget about it. Such romantic moment doesn’t
happen in Norway. The isolation is so great that it’s impossible to listen to
the rain from inside – you only know it’s raining if you check the forecast in
advance, or if you open the curtains in the morning and… surpriiiise!
