Sumário de dois anos na Noruega | Summary of two years in Norway

Faz hoje dois anos que cheguei à Noruega e até agora aprendi que:

·      Acordar cedo para ir trabalhar é bom, e é ainda melhor sair cedo sem ter ninguém a olhar para nós de lado. Até porque é provável que esse alguém já tenha ido para casa também. (a minha surpresa, AQUI)

·      Comer pão com cenas ao almoço é ok, até para as crianças

·      Kvikk Lunsj sabe ao mesmo que Kit Kat mas os norugueses não assumem (AQUI)

·      Conduzir 6 horas à sexta e outras 6 de volta ao domingo só para ir passar o fim de semana numa casa de montanha sem água nem casa de banho século XX é fixe

·      Se deve sair à rua SEMPRE que o sol vem, mesmo que ainda estejam 5ºC. Nunca se sabe se ele voltará no próximo mês

·      O Inverno não foi feito para ficar em casa ao fim de semana nem para ir passear ao shopping. É para ir apanhar ar fresco, que faz bem à alma e às rugas

·      Não dou para esquiadora (mais detalhes AQUI)

·      É uma vergonha ter uma árvore de Natal de plástico

·      Tirar o sapatinho à entrada de casa foi a melhor coisinha que inventaram e o saco do aspirador agradece

·      Afinal, aprender norueguês não é assim tão fácil

·      Chamar Øyvind, Gøran, Sigurd, Torgunn ou Bjørn (urso) a uma criancinha é normal

Enfim, ainda tanto para aprender.

Two years in Norway today and so far I’ve learned that:

·      Getting up early to go to work is great, and it's even better to leave early in the afternoon without having anyone looking at us as if we were weirdos. Also because it’s likely that those people have probably already gone home too. (My surprise, HERE)

·      Eating bread with stuff for lunch is ok, even for children

·      Kvikk Lunsj tastes the same as Kit Kat, but the Norwegians don’t assume it (HERE)

·      Driving 6 hours on a Friday and another 6 hours back on a Sunday to spend the weekend in a cabin at the mountains with no running water or proper bathroom is cool

·      We should ALWAYS go outside when the sun comes, even if it is still 5ºC. You never know if it'll be back next month

·      Winter was not made to stay home in the weekend or to go inside a shopping mall. Winter was made to get some fresh air, which is great both for the soul and wrinkles

·      I was not born to become a skier (more details HERE)

·      It's a shame to have a Christmas tree made of plastic

·      Taking off the shoes when you enter home is the best thing ever, and the vacuum cleaner bag says thanks

·      After all, learning Norwegian is not that easy

·      To call Øyvind, Gøran, Sigurd, Torgunn or Bjørn (bear) to a child is normal
