Em Portugal:

“Já tem cartão Continente?”. Mas É CLAAAARO que já tenho cartão Continente. Tenho cartão Continente, cartão Açores, cartão Madeira e mais quatrocentos e cinquenta e três cartões na minha carteira. Até me dói o braço, de tão pesada que está. Mas passe lá o cartão que um descontinho dá sempre jeito.

Na Noruega:

“Já tem a App do Rema1000?”. Já tenho a App do Rema1000, do Rema100, do Rema10 e mais duzentas e trinta e sete Apps no meu telemóvel. Não cabe mais, está a perceber??? Já nem posso tirar fotos porque a memória está cheia.

Amiguinhos do Continente, do Pingo Doce, do Rema1000 e do Meny: resolvam lá este problemazinho, está bem? Sem cartões nem Apps… Não seria muito mais simples fazerem os descontos diretos, uma pessoa pagava e ia à sua vidinha? Pensem nisso, sim?

“Do you already have the Continente* card?”. OF COURSE I already have the Continente card. I have the Continente card, the Ocean card, the Island card, and four hundred and fifty three more cards in my purse. My arm actually hurts, because my purse is so heavy. But go ahead, just validate the card. Any discount is welcome.

In Norway:

“Do you already have the Rema1000 App?”. Yes, I already have the Rema1000 App, the Rema100 App, the Rema10 and two hundred and thirty seven more Apps in my phone. No room for more, ok?? I can’t even take pics anymore because the memory is so full!

My dear friends from Continente, Pingo Doce, Rema1000 and Meny marketing: could you please fix this? No cards, no Apps… Wouldn’t it be much simpler to have discounts right away, one pays and goes home happy again? Think about it, ok?

O que eu tenho a dizer sobre o concerto dos Muse, ontem à noite, no Telenor Arena:


- É muito triste ser baixinha;
- Vi o Mattzinho durante mais tempo no ecrã do que realmente ao vivo;
- As bolas e o avião que caíram do teto eram cool. Esses vi bem.
- Ainda assim, foi AWESOME!


(Só tive mesmo pena que eles não tivessem interagido mais com o público. Pouco mais ouvimos do que um "Tusen takk" - "muito obrigado" em norueguês. Ao menos esforçaram-se para aprender a língua...)

Things I have to say regarding the Muse concert, last evening, at Telenor Arena:


- It sucks to be small;
- During most part of the concert, I could see Mr. Bellamy better through the big screen than actually live;
- The big balls and the plane coming down from the roof were cool. Those I could see well;
- Still, it was AWESOME.


(I've only missed more interaction with us. Few words were said, few more than a "tusen takk" - "Thank you very much" in Norwegian. At least they made the effort to learn the language...

…que são, na verdade, factos:

1) Demora mais a fazer o registo de mudança de morada do que a própria da mudança para uma casa nova.

2) Demora mais a abrir uma conta no banco do que a amealhar para as prendas de Natal para todos os membros de uma família (das grandes!).

Vivam as papeladas! Vivaaaa!!!

…which are actually facts:

1) It takes more time to register a new address in the system than the moving itself.

2) It takes more time to open an account in the bank than to save money to buy Christmas presents for all the members of a (big!) family.

Hurray to the bureaucracies!!!
