Como em tudo na vida, existem,
contudo, algumas exceções. Por exemplo, se a nacionalidade norueguesa for
solicitada mas não for possível abdicar da nacionalidade original. Ou no caso
de filhos de pais com diferentes nacionalidades, em que um deles é norueguês e
o outro estrangeiro (o que acontecerá, um dia, às minhas crianças). Nestes
casos a lei permite dupla nacionalidade. Portanto, a lei norueuesa não proibe
totalmente a dupla nacionalidade, mas restringe bastante.
