Gosto tanto (ou não fosse eu
Bacalhau… de Natal)! Natal com frio tem outro sabor. Não me imaginaria a passar
o Natal no hemisfério Sul. Natal com frio é que é bom. E mal posso esperar para
conhecer melhor as tradições norueguesas. A comida (não, eles não comem
bacalhau na consoada…), os mercadinhos de rua, o Natal branquinho com que
sonhamos desde pequenos, a cerveja típica desta época (sim, eles fazem cerveja
especial para o Natal! – melhor, fazem REFRIGERANTES especiais de Natal!), o
dançar à volta da árvore… Mas no fundo, tudo é igual – o estar com a família, o
espírito de solidariedade crescente e até a correria aos presentes. É Natal e
eu gosto.

Love it (of course I do, I am Bacalhau… for
Christmas)! Christmas and cold fit together. I couldn’t imagine myself spending
Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere. A cold Christmas is nicer. And I
can’t wait to know Norwegian traditions better. The food (no, they don’t eat bacalhau for Christmas Eve as we
Portuguese do), the street markets, the white Christmas we all dreamed about
when we were kids, the typical beer (yes, they brew special beer for this
season – more, they make special SODA!), dancing around the tree… But after
all, the most important is similar – being with family, the increased spirit of
solidarity, and the search for the best present. It’s Christmas and I like it!
