Fårikål é “O” prato do Outono. Na minha
terra come-se rancho. Aqui come-se fårikål.
Sinto falta do rancho. Mas também vou bem com fårikål. O nome significa "ovelha na couve" (får=ovelha, i=na, kål=couve). Tudo
cozido a vapor.
2. Dispor a carne, depois a couve e as
batatas, em camadas alternadas.
3. Adicionar a pimenta em grão e o sal.
Tapar.
4. Deixar cozer por 2-3h a vapor.

Bacalhau agradece!

Fårikål is “THE” Autumn dish. In my
hometown we eat rancho. Here we eat fårikål. I miss rancho. But I’d be also happy with fårikål. The name means "sheep in cabage " (får=sheep, i=in, kål=cabage). All
steamed.
Just don’t
start making it when you’re already hungry. Because it takes foreeeeever to get
it ready. But almost no work: buy the ingredients, peel the potatoes, put
everything inside a casserole, et voilà!
Like this:
Ingredients:
sliced lamb
meet
cabage
new potatoes
whole black
peppercorns
salt
water
Preparation:
1. Cover the bottom of a casserole pot with
water.
2. Arrange the meat, cabage and the
potatoes in layers. Repeat layering as many times as you want.
3. Add the pepper and the salt. Cover
with a lid.
4. Steam for 2-3h.
The stomach of a Bacalhau says
thanks!
